We are conscious of the fact that some residents of Lingfield and Dormansland may not be able to visit our information / petition / donation points in the villlages - either through work commitments or due to lack of mobility. We have therefore nominated a campaign headquarters / postal address to which correspondence may be sent. This is the office building of Hearnden Associates in Lingfield, which is ironically enough called The Press. The address to write to is:
8M20
The Press,
37, Mount Pleasant Road,
Lingfield,
Surrey
RH7 6BS
The web site is developing with content being added gradually as more people find us. We have posted all of the radio interviews and press articles that we've been given in file format on a page entitled simply Papers and Radio This gives people the chance to go back and hear/read media coverage that they may have missed when first aired/published. We'd like to get every item posted there so if one of your articles is not yet found and you can email us the file please do - send it to Simon Dawson at web@8minutestooxted.co.uk
To view the media items currently posted:
From the home page of www.8minutestooxted.co.uk click on the menu bar to the left entitled "Papers and Radio" and then select the item. To play back the radio pieces you may need to right click on the MP3 symbol and then either left click on "Open Link" or save the item.
Try clicking on the MP3 logo. Depending on how your computer is set up it may start to play. If it doesn't, right-click on the logo and save the file to your harddrive. Use your favourite music playing application to open and play the saved file. The OGG file is an open-source patent free audio encoding format and works in a similar manner.
